Transition to Diploma Programs At The Same Equivalent

In accordance with the provisions of “Regulations Regarding the Principles of Pre-Bachelor’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree Between Higher Education Institutions and Programs in Bachelor’s Degree, Double Major, Minor and Intermediary Institutions with Credit Transfer” in the Spring Semester 2017-2018 Education -Training Spring Semester, students will be taken by means of Horizontal Transit.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION

The application will be made online. The requested documents will be scanned and uploaded to the system.

Student certificate

Certified status report (Transcript)

Approved curriculum and course content

Certificate of non-disciplinary penalty

Result document of the year in which OSYM exam was taken

Detailed result document of the year that was put into the OSYM examination

Certificate of achievement from the preparatory class and / or equivalent foreign language examinations

(Note: “This document is obligatory for students of Department of Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Department of Political Science and International Relations, Department of International Trade and Logistics and English Language Teaching Department with Computer Engineering!”)

IMPORTANT: Online application will be made individually and no online application is made at our university. Incomplete papers online applicants will not be considered and evaluated.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

The first semester of the associate degree program and the second semester of the undergraduate diploma programs can not be transferred to the last semester.

In order to be able to transition from open and distance education to structured curricula, the central placement score for the year in which the student is over 80 or above the grade point average in the program in which the student is studying must be equal to or higher than the base grade for that year in the diploma program of the university to which she wishes to pass.

Higher education institutions abroad are located outside the Republic of Turkey will be considered as higher education institutions.

HORIZONTAL TRANSITION BETWEEN RAPES

Horizontal transfers to my university are made at the same level of equivalent diploma programs in other higher education institutions.

For horizontal transfer to my university, the student must have a grade of at least 60 out of 100 of the overall grade average for the period in which he / she completed the degree program.

Candidates who can not achieve the second condition of success but whose central placement score is equal to or higher than the base score of the diploma program that they wish to transfer can also make a horizontal transfer application.

The results of the inter-institutional transfer evaluation are announced on the website of our university, in the order of the names of all applicants who are valid applicants, according to the scores based on evaluation.

The number of original and reserve candidates is determined by the number of quotas. Instead of the original candidates that are not recorded within the registration dates specified in the calendar, the registration reference of the backups is taken.

UNIVERSITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION INTERNATIONAL HORIZONTAL TRANSITION

For horizontal transfer to my university, the student must have a GPA of at least 60 out of 100 (2.27 out of 4).

Candidates who can not achieve the first grade success condition but whose central placement score is equal to or higher than the base score of the diploma program that they want to transfer can also make a horizontal transfer application. Applications for candidates applying in this way shall be assessed in the case of vacancies remaining after the placement of applicants pursuant to the second paragraph.

If the application made by a university abroad is applied to a higher education institution abroad and the program for which the education is made is approved by the Higher Education Council as an institution authorized to issue a pre-license or undergraduate diploma, the equivalent degree to the associate degree or undergraduate diploma program applied for horizontal transfer at our University the condition of acceptance is sought.

Higher starting students abroad to be used in assessing the transition applicants to higher education programs in Turkey Student Selection and Student Selection made by the Placement Center and Placement exams are accepted as equivalent to them with minimum scores in exams and scores are listed below.

Evaluation of Applications

The applications will be evaluated by the governing board of the relevant units.

The application will be announced at www.hku.edu.tr.

Candidates accepted for the application will be listed in two separate lists, original and reserve candidates.
